Creative Industries Precinct
The Creative Industries Precinct at QUT's Kelvin Grove campus is an incubator for the next generation of groundbreaking ideas, creative enterprise and emerging and experimental creatives and artists.
The Precinct provides a unique opportunity to easily connect and collaborate with partners from government and industry to create new work, develop new ideas and grow the creative industries sector in Queensland and Australia.
Enhanced by an $80 million expansion in 2016, the Precinct is home to QUT's Creative Industries Faculty, where innovation between students, staff and researchers is fueled by interdisciplinary collaboration, digital connectivity and transparency. No Walls is the online hub for students to showcase their work and share ideas, resources and stories.
The Precinct is also home to QUT Creative Enterprise Australia, the nation's only company dedicated to fostering the creative industries by helping start-ups and entrepreneurs start, grow, scale and connect their creative businesses.
Brisbane's healthy contemporary art scene is bolstered by partnerships with leading festivals and companies such as Brisbane Festival, Brisbane Street Art and La Boite Theatre Company, supported by innovative events and student showcase theatre productions.
Located on the western fringe of Brisbane's Central Business District, the Precinct is part of the Kelvin Grove Urban Village, and our venues are also available for hire.
