'Overcoat' by Ben Tennyson

Accidental art features in Brisbane artist and school teacher Ben Tennyson's Overcoat, which is a collage of colourful graffiti cover-ups.
Intrigued by the unintentional paintings he saw scattered around the city, Ben's billboard documents the unrecognised effort of property owners who, through trying to eradicate vandalism, unknowingly create their own expressionist abstract art.
Ben's photographs capture what he calls 'new urban abstractionism' where the paint of the geometric overcoats never quite matches, or doesn't match at all.
