Act First, Think Later makes visible the curatorial choices and processes that generally remian hidden from the wider public and explores the role of the curator as a creative practitioner.

The exhibition presents curatorial development from Jesssica O'Farrell's Honours Project as its subject matter. This constitutes O'Farrell's first step toward exploring what happens when emerging curators see themselves as independent creative practitioners, and their training as a form of practice-led research.
