We've poured over the work of hundreds of last year's QUT graduates in art and design to bring you our annual showcase, The Shape of Things to Come, highlighting the next generation of creative practitioners.
The exhibition, this year titled I'm Yours/Be Mine, raises questions of longing and human desire: towards relationships, objects, materials, food or lifestyles, with works ranging from fetishes towards the futuristic and fantastic, a longing for regression to the retro, and traditional, highly-personal retrospection or distanced craving for plastic, glass and steel.
Preview I'm Yours/Be Mine during O-Week 22-24 February. QUT students can visit to enter the draw to win a Canon IXUS 230HS (rrp$298).
