Before requesting a venue hire, please note the following information.
QUT Gardens Point Campus Re-Development - The $200 million re-development of the QUT Science and Technology Precinct at the CBD Gardens Point Campus is now underway and will be completed in 2012. As Old Government House and the Gardens Theatre are located adjacent to the redevelopment site, the events team will endeavour to keep disruptions to a minimum for events taking place in those venues. Evening functions after 6.00pm and weekend events will not be affected. A 5m partition has been erected displaying artwork and creating an elegant backdrop for our Gardens Point venues (including Old Government House). You may wish to consider our Kelvin Grove Campus venues when submitting your enquiry. The Events Team will be happy to answer any further queries.
