A $60 million site boasting some of Australia's most sophisticated, high-tech digital facilities, the Creative Industries Precinct at QUT's Kelvin Grove campus is an incubator for the next generation of groundbreaking ideas, emerging artists and designers, and creative enterprise.
The Creative Industries Precinct's yearly exhibition program bolsters Brisbane's healthy contemporary art scene by showcasing the emerging field of new media and digital art. Our exhibition program is supported by innovative public programs and student showcase theatre productions, all taking place in our state-of-the-art facilities.
The Precinct is integrated with the Kelvin Grove Urban Village, which includes apartment complexes, a Woolworths supermarket, pharmacy, dentist, butcher shop, newsagency and cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. The Urban Village is also home to a Healthstream fitness centre and pool, the Red Cross Blood Service headquarters and QUT's Institute of Biomedical Health and Innovation (IHBI).
